J A Magson Ltd is a nationwide distributor servicing the trade of Retailers with toys, stationery, gift-wrap and seasonal products.  Established in 1929 by John A Magson in York, Magson has evolved over almost eighty years and has developed from a regional wholesaler to a national business with an outstanding reputation and an unrivalled understanding of its market sector.

AQUISITIONS
In November 2007 the business was acquired by The Agilo Investment Fund. Additional investment has been made available to the business to fund further acquisitions and drive the business forward. In January 2008 Wilkinson-Richmond of Cheadle, near Manchester was acquired and is now fully integrated into our business at York.
